Low Cost Solution

Our products are the only low cost solution in the market for fireplaces (either energy or non energy ones), woodstoves and wood burners. A firm, high calorific value of biomass is produced due to the following facts:
a. it is a leaf biomass mixture of wood (beech, oak, holly-Fagus, Quercus), and
b. it has been compressed at high mechanical pressure.
Specifically, ENERGOSTAR biomass generates 18,04 MJ/Kg! being a leader in performance in its sector. Needless to compare it with the market firewood that along with other defects is producing way lower calorific value.
To get to the point, the calorific difference may be twice to five times lower since firewood quality is not fixed. Consequently their calorific value is left to customer’s knowledge and the trader’s consciousness. Unlikely, ENERGOSTAR biomass has a stable quality reassuring all our customers that the right product has been bought and used.

Another advantage of ENERGOSTAR biomass products is their competitiveness when it comes to the “moisture” factor. The moisture content in each case is less than 8% giving stable combustion without sparking and pitting. What is more, firewood often contains up to 60% moisture which means that a customer is wasting 60% of his/her money to buy WATER!

Ecological Solution!

 Cellulose and lignin (already present in the wood) are the ones responsible for the adhesion of solid biomass, which during the compression and heating are converted to a very strong adhesive substance. This result ensures that the minimum possible particulate pollutants will be emitted.

ENERGOSTAR Wood-briquettes have zero contribution to the balance of carbon dioxide (CO2) since the dioxide quantities being released in the atmosphere during combustion are absorbed again by the same plants for biomass rebuilding. ENERGOSTAR bio-mass products help combat the phenomenon of acid rain as they are of low sulfur content (only 0.08%).

Safety

A constant use of ENERGOSTAR biomass products, chimney re-ignition possibility can be completely avoided since the solid fuel does not contain harmful resins that may adhere to the walls of the chimney and cause ignition that can lead to fire! In addition, with the use of ENERGOSTAR solid fuel the strenuous and painstaking chimney cleaning is no more required.

Using solid fuel we can stay assured for our house safety as there is no danger of any fire bursting; that is because the bricks are neither scintillating nor sparking due to their fixed low moisture level (8%). As a result, sleep near the fireplace and the expensive carpet in the living room are not at risk of any unpleasant surprises!
